That's a wrap from our live coverage of tonight's semi-final first legs. Thanks for being a part of it with us.
FULL TIME!
Huge results for United and Tottenham. The latter were more fancied in their tie but that's an incredible result for Ruben Amorim's side. We might just be getting another all-Premier League final in Europe after all - but it is still only half time in the ties.
That late reducer won't take the shine off Spurs' overall display, especially for their main man in attack
GOAL! Tottenham 3-1 Bodø/Glimt
The visitors have pulled one back! Saltnes reduces their deficit and offers them signs of hope heading into next week's return leg.
CHANCE!
Spurs also seeing another at home with Udogie and Kulusevski attempting to build their aggregate but both see their efforts deflected off target.
CHANCE!
That should've been a fourth for United as Garnacho forces a good save from Agirrezabala
GOAL! Tottenham 3-0 Bodø/Glimt
That all-English final is looking like a certainty now as Solanke coverts.
PENALTY!
Spurs could match United's score line after winning a spot kick from Romero being fouled.
United appealing for a second penalty after Garnacho goes to ground in the area but the referee isn't having it and neither seemingly is VAR
Both ties are back underway for the second half
HALF TIME!
It's the interval in both north London and Bilbao, and you have to say that it's the latter which is providing the biggest surprise so far. United were on the ropes for the opening 25 minutes but exploded into life towards the end of the half.
GOAL! Athletic Club 0-3 Manchester United
What a performance this is from the visitors! Fernandes extends their lead with a clever finish to make it three on the night. We could be looking at an all-English meeting in this competition the way things are going
Ernesto Valverde going for broke after seeing his side reduced to ten men by instigating a double change with Berenguer making way
GOAL! Athletic Club 0-2 Manchester United
Fernandes steps up from the penalty spot and comfortably dispatches
GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Bodø/Glimt
Meanwhile over in N17, Spurs are now comfortably ahead as Maddison doubles their advantage with a .drilled strike
RED CARD!
More drama at San Mamés as Vivian is given a straight red card for the challenge on Højlund
PENALTY!
The referee is sent to the VAR monitor and awards a penalty to the Red Devils
CHANCE!
Almost a second for United in as many minutes as Mazraoui plays a dangerous cross in for Højlund, who fails to meet it. The forward appeals for a penalty due to contact from Vivian, which VAR is currently looking at.
GOAL! Athletic Club 0-1 Manchester United
Well, well! Ruben Amorim's side are ahead against the run of play as Casemiro puts them ahead with a far-post header from Ugarte's knockdown of a Maguire cross. Yes, you did read that last part right!
CHANCE!
Athletic Club still piling the pressure on with Berenguer again heavily involved with an effort which Lindelöf stops before he also blocks the follow-up superbly.
CHANCE!
Berenguer tees up Iñaki Williams with really clever cross but the forward heads it narrowly over the bar. Onana was rooted to the spot for it and United's defence nowhere to be found.
CHANCE!
Athletic Club respond with a sharp counter as Berenguer tests Onana with a shot after Ugarte gave away possession but the United stopper does well to deny him.
NO GOAL!
Meanwhile in Bilbao, United have the ball in the back of the net through Garnacho but the flag is immediately up for offside
GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Bodø/Glimt
The deadlock has been broken in north London after just 40 seconds courtesy of Johnson nodding home Richarlison's flick-on header.
KICK OFF!
We're underway in both of tonight's ties at San Mamés and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Meanwhile, Tottenham's first European semi-final in six years promises to be a momentous affair and their supporters are up for the challenge.
Over in Bilbao, things have been building nicely with Athletic Club fans out in force several hours before their team took on Manchester United.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Europa League semi-final first legs. We've got two big ties ahead as four teams look to put themselves in a strong position to reach the showpiece.
