Southampton have warned suitors of winger Tyler Dibling they will have to pay a whopping £100m to sign the teenager this summer, a report has claimed.

19-year-old Dibling has caught the eye for Southampton in an otherwise miserable campaign which appears certain to lead to relegation back to the Championship, but plenty of clubs across Europe are keen to give Dibling the chance to continue his career in the top flight.

Manchester United are reported to be leading the race for his signature, battling the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich, but Southampton are doing all they can to fend off the interest.

Indeed, The Telegraph state Southampton will demand as much as £100m to sell Dibling this summer, such is their determination to keep hold of the youngster.

Southampton believe Dibling, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 before a failure to settle saw him return to the Saints weeks later, is one of English football's top young talents and are not prepared to entertain low offers looking to exploit their likely relegation.

It is a bold stance from Southampton as Dibling is entering the final two years of his contract and, if he does not extend, will only see his value decrease from this summer onwards.

Dibling has managed four goals and two assists across all competitions for Southampton, impressing in a Saints forward line that has netted just 21 times in 29 Premier League games.

Despite his good form in attack, reports claim United head coach Ruben Amorim sees Dibling as a possible wing-back in the same mould as Geovany Quenda, who he coached to stardom at Sporting CP and will join Chelsea for an initial £43.6m in 2026.
