🚨 Manchester United complete signing of young Lecce star

Manchester United have completed the signing of 20-year-old left-back Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce, in a deal thought to be worth €30m plus an additional €7.5m in bonuses.

The Denmark international came through the academy at Nordsjælland, before moving to Southern Italy in 2022.

Dorgu made his senior debut last season, making a total of 17 Serie A appearances, with a further 15 coming off the bench.

This season has seen the youngster cement his place in the first team, starting all but one of Lecce's 22 games, scoring three goals and also weighing in with an assist.

He is the first senior signing for new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim and pens a deal until 2030 with the option of a further year.
