Last-16 tie is finely poised ahead of second-leg decider at Old Trafford after Spain stalemate
Manchester United are hoping to seal their spot in the Europa League quarter-finals as they host Real Sociedad tonight.
Man Utd drew 1-1 with Sociedad in the first leg last week and will believe they can reach the final eight of the competition at the very least.
It will be the first game the club have played since United confirmed plans to leave Old Trafford and build a new 100,000-seater stadium next to it.
With that in mind, it will be fascinating to see what kind of atmosphere the supporters will generate on a big night of European action at the Theatre of Dreams.
A Bruno Fernandes free-kick helped the Red Devils claim a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in what proved a creditable second-half performance from Ruben Amorim’s side, while Sociedad lost to Sevilla in LaLiga on Sunday.
Manchester United vs Real Sociedad is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off time tonight on Thursday March 13, 2025.
Old Trafford in Manchester will host the match.
TV channel: The game will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate in the UK, with coverage from 7pm.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers will also be able to watch online via the Discovery+ website and app.

Subs: Mee, Harrison, Lindelof, Eriksen, Ugarte, Amass, Collyer, Fredricson, Fletcher, Scanlon
Real Sociedad XI: Remiro, Elustondo, Zubeldia, Aguerd, Munoz, Mendez, Zubimendi, Marin, Becker, Oyarzabal, Kubo

There are perhaps signs of life from United, who will feel disappointed that they did not beat the Gunners on Sunday.
While they remain difficult to trust, Amorim is seemingly starting to get a grip on things and should feel confident about turning what promises to be a big occasion for the supporters into a potentially season-saving victory.
