Marco Asensio and Marquinhos return to PSG training | OneFootball

According to Le Parisien, Marco Asensio (28) and Marquinhos (29) have both returned to PSG training ahead of the resumption of club football. This is a big boost for the Ligue 1 champions with both players experiencing injuries in recent weeks.

Marquinhos has been out of action with a recurring Achilles injury he picked up against Nantes in February. Les Parisiens have been hopeful that their captain would be able to feature on numerous occasions including in their second leg against Real Sociedad but multiple setbacks forced PSG to rule the Brazilian international out until after the international break.

Marco Asensio suffered a muscle injury in early March which as forced him out of action for 5 PSG matches and miss the international break with his native Spain. However, the Spanish international has now returned to full training, and like Marquinhos, will be hoping to be in contention to play in Les Parisiens’ upcoming matches as the season draws to a close.
