Marseille continue to push for Juventus’s Nicolò Fagioli as Ismaël Koné nears exit | OneFootball

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Olympique de Marseille are continuing to push to sign Nicolò Fagioli from Juventus. Marseille have sent the Serie A side a loan offer with an option to buy the midfielder. However, the deal under certain conditions will become permanent.

Foot Mercato have previously written that Fagioli made his intentions clear and that he wanted to leave Juventus and join Marseille to relaunch his career. The midfielder has struggled in recent months to nail down a place in Thiago Motta’s team.

Marseille are looking to strengthen in midfield particularly due to the club having lost faith in the summer signing Ismaël Koné (22). De Zerbi previously confirmed in a press conference that the club will be looking to part ways with the Canadian international.

Stade Rennais have been linked with the midfielder and Hawkins writes that Stade Rennais are in pole position to collect the out-of-favour Marseille man.
