Marseille deem Roma’s demands for Zalewski too excessive

Marseille appear to have slowed down in their pursuit of Roma winger Nicola Zalewski.

The French giants had launched talks with the Giallorossi in order to sign the Pole before the end of the January window.

Roma’s demands, however, appear to have halted Marseille’s interest.

According to RMC Sport, Roma are asking for 5 million euros in order to avoid losing Zalewski on a free in the summer.

Marseille are not inclined to match this fee and so the deal is off the table, at least for the time being.
