Jonathan Rowe was a surprise starter against AS Monaco last weekend for Olympique de Marseille, however, Amine Gouiri is expected to be in the starting line-up when OM face Montpellier HSC tonight. It is the Englishman who is expected to make way.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Roberto De Zerbi to contend with as his side return to the Vélodrome. However, Leonardo Balerdi is still not fit enough to start. His return is nonetheless returning, whilst Luiz Felipe, included in the matchday squad, is not expected to start. It will therefore be a makeshift back three once again, comprised of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Derek Corenlius, and Michael Murillo.
Ismaël Bennacer may have to settle for a place on the bench with Valentin Rongier expected to partner Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the Marseille midfield. Despite poor performances last weekend, Luis Henrique and Mason Greenwood are expected to retain their places.
