Marseille rally to help victims of Spanish floods during Auxerre fixture

Olympique de Marseille have announced their support for the victims of the Spanish floods, in particular, those of the Valencian region with an initiative that will take place during the game tonight against AJ Auxerre.

Marseille will display the Valencian flag on their shirts in tribute to the victims of the natural disasters which have claimed the lives of over 200 people, while 93 people are still reported missing.

The shirts worn tonight will be auctioned on MatchWarnShirt through the club’s programme “Treizième Homme” and the proceeds will be then sent to Secours Populaire Français, a charity organisation who are currently working in the affected regions of Spain.

Marseille supporters groups join in the initiative to support the victims of the floods

Marseille’s supporters groups, including the South Winners, Fanatics, CAOM, MTP, Dodger’s, Handifan Club, will set up a collection during the game tonight where hygiene products and basic necessities can be donated.
