Marvin Ducksch open to leaving Werder Bremen this summer | OneFootball

Speaking to Sky Germany, Werder Bremen striker Marvin Ducksch has revealed that he is open to leaving the club this summer if the right offer comes in.

On if he would leave the club this summer, Ducksch said:

Last season was a solid year for the 30-year-old as Bremen finished ninth in the Bundesliga, only missing out on European football by goal difference on Heidenheim.

In 33 games for Bremen, Ducksch scored 12 and provided nine assists, which minimised the departure of Niclas Füllkrug the previous summer. The 30-year-old’s form earned him a call-up to the German national team in the November international break.

This is not the first time that Ducksch has been linked with a move away from the Weserstadion. At the back end of last year, the striker was linked to a host of mid to bottom-of-the-table Premier League sides.

If Ducksch were to leave, although Bremen would be losing a reliable forward they do have options up front with summer signing Keke Topp adding to the likes of Marco Grüll, Justin Njinmah and Dawid Kownacki who can all play as strikers.
