Emerson Palmieri might find himself lucky to start this game as the left-back after a horrible display last week.

Midfield

The holding midfielders, Tomas Soucek and Edson Alvarez, are set to be deployed yet again. However, they will aim to command the game in a more dominating manner.

Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, and Lucas Paqueta will be linking up the midfield with the offensive line. All three will have a crucial role to play.

Nayef Aguerd (ankle) and Kalvin Phillips (calf) are the confirmed absentees for the Hammers for this weekend’s clash.
