The management team, the coaching staff and senior Milan players met for an emergency debrief on Wednesday morning following the team’s elimination from the Champions League on Tuesday night, according to reports from Italy.
The Rossoneri were dumped out of the Champions League in the play-off round after falling to a 2-1 aggregate defeat against an inexperienced and injury-hit Feyenoord side. The result was sealed with a 1-1 draw in San Siro, a game which Milan played with 10 men for 40 minutes after Theo Hernandez’s second yellow.
A disappointing blow for Conceicao and his team, the Rossoneri will now have to finish in the top four to secure a place in next season’s Champions League, with a fifth Italian spot in the competition now looking unlikely following Tuesday night’s results.

According to reports from Milannews.it, the senior management team from Milan were all at the training ground, Milanello, on Wednesday to take stock of the situation.
According to Wednesday’s updates, the updated objective for the Rossoneri is fourth place in Serie A ‘at all costs’.
The Rossoneri do not have too much time to dwell on their misfortunes, as they will be back in action in Serie A on Saturday, away against Torino, before the recently rescheduled Bologna fixture next Thursday.
