The Milan transformation is in full flow, as late afternoon Santiago Gimenez lands from Feyenoord, Alvaro Morata will fly for Galatasaray and Davide Calabria heads to Bologna in tears.

The transfer deadline is midnight local time on Monday, 23.00 GMT, and the Rossoneri are busy completely revamping the squad in the final hours of the winter window.

According to multiple reports, the flights have been scheduled for the striker merry-go-round, with Morata set to fly out this afternoon, arriving in Istanbul at circa 18.30 GMT.

That transfer should allow the Diavolo to pocket around €16m, more or less what they paid to get him from Atletico Madrid six months ago.

At the same time, Gimenez is on his way and his flight is expected to land on Italian soil at 17.00 GMT.

Meanwhile, Calabria posted on his Instagram Stories that he is leaving the training ground.

His contract had been running down anyway, but he is sold to Bologna for circa €1m plus €500,000 in add-ons.

The transfer had already been in the works, but escalated after the on-field row with coach Sergio Conceicao last week.

Calabria was spotted in tears as he drove away from the club for the last time.
