Milan will reportedly ask Manchester City for a discount to buy Kyle Walker outright, but have already had enough of Emerson Royal and are planning his exit.
The right-back role has been a tough one for the Rossoneri to fill in recent years, as captain Davide Calabria was sent to Bologna in January and Alessandro Florenzi has been injured practically all season.
Emerson Royal had been purchased from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2024 at a cost of €15m, but disappointed with his performances and fitness record.
He is currently out with a calf injury, having made 26 competitive appearances for the club, though Tuttosport suggest there won’t be many more even when he does recover.

According to the newspaper, Milan are already looking to sell the Brazilian, who is of interest to both Galatasaray and clubs in LaLiga.
He has been replaced in the squad by Walker, who joined in January on loan from Manchester City with an option to buy at the end of the season for €5m.
Tuttosport also suggest that Walker is happy to make the move permanent, but that Milan want a small discount on the agreed fee.
Meanwhile, Florenzi is hoping to keep his place at San Siro and is prepared to take a big pay cut to extend his current contract, which expires on June 30.
The former Roma man currently earns €3m per season net and is considered an important figure in the locker room even more than on the pitch.
