Liverpool Women midfielder Missy Bo Kearns has joined Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
The England under-23 international made more than 100 seniors appearances after joining her lifelong club at the age of eight.
But Kearns has signed a three-year deal with the Villans after ending her association with the Reds.
“Missy Bo is a great asset for our team,” said Villa manager Robert de Pauw.
“She is a good player and has the potential to be a future leader.
“We are happy to have her in our squad. I see Missy as a dynamic, box-to-box midfielder.
“She is a good passer and also knows where to find the goal.
“Missy Bo has the potential and ability to become a regular England international.”
The 23-year-old could make her Villa bow in their WSL opener against Chelsea on 22 September.
