AC Milan will be up against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday and given the injury of Tammy Abraham, Alvaro Morata is the only striker available. As such, the youngster Francesco Camarda could be called up.

Abraham came off the bench in the 72nd minute yesterday evening but was forced to leave just five minutes later, suffering an injury just after missing a sitter. In other words, it was pretty much a nightmare scenario for the Englishman, who suffered a trauma to his shoulder.

According to MilanNews, with Abraham unlikely to make it, Paulo Fonseca could call up Camarda for the game against Club Brugge. Luka Jovic, who is the third-choice striker, isn’t included in Milan’s Champions League squad for the season and the manager thus must turn to the academy.

While it will be nice to see Camarda with the first team, it’s not ideal for the Primavera side as they will take on Club Brugge on Tuesday afternoon. The striker was nailed on to start that game but now, seeing as Fonseca might call him up, that likely won’t be the case.

Camarda has only made two appearances for the first team before, both in Serie A, so even if he does get called up a cameo is unlikely.
