Monaco predicted XI v Aston Villa: Denis Zakaria and Wilfried Singo to return | OneFootball

Denis Zakaria has recovered from an illness, whilst Wilfried Singo has recovered from a minor back injury which saw him miss out on Friday’s defeat to Montpellier HSC. Both are expected to start when AS Monaco host Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Adi Hütter has few, if any choices up front. Breel Embolo is certain to start. Folarin Balogun isn’t expected to return from his shoulder injury until March at the earliest, George Ilenikhena is out for several weeks, perhaps as much as a month, and Mika Biereth, signed from Sturm Graz earlier in the transfer window, is ineligible.

Christian Mawissa has also recovered from injury and he could be thrown straight into the starting line-up for Monaco, as they look to scure their progression to the next phase of the Champions League.
