There is good news and bad news for AS Monaco as they prepare to host Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday evening. Whilst Mika Biereth looks set to be involved, despite coming off injured against AS Saint-Étienne last week, the Dane looks set to start alongside Breel Embolo. However, L’Équipe understands that Folarin Balogun has been ruled out of the encounter. His season could be over.

According to the report from L’Équipe, Balogun suffered an ankle injury in the final session before the match against Lyon. Having recently returned from a lengthy absence following shoulder surgery, he could be braced for another period on the sidelines.
