Napoli have reportedly agreed a contract renewal with Antonio Conte, according to Sky Sport Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio.
Conte joined Napoli in 2024 and guided the club to their fourth Serie A title at the end of the campaign.
The title win was Napoli’s second league triumph in three seasons and marked a successful return for the former Juventus boss.
There had been uncertainty over Conte’s future, with Massimiliano Allegri linked to the Napoli job in recent weeks.
However, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis hinted at the renewal on social media, posting a photo with Conte and a clear message.
The post translates to ‘full speed ahead – stronger than before’.
The new agreement is expected to increase Conte’s salary, although the structure of his contract will remain the same.
Napoli are also planning to support Conte in the upcoming transfer window with new signings already in the pipeline.
The club are closing in on a free transfer for Kevin De Bruyne, who could become one of Conte’s key additions this summer.
Conte’s success with Napoli has made history, as he became the first manager to win the Italian title with three different clubs.
This was his fifth Scudetto as a coach, adding to his previous titles with Juventus and Inter Milan.
Napoli are keen to build on last season’s progress and keep stability at the top after a successful campaign under Conte.
With the renewal agreed and support promised in the transfer market, Conte will look to repeat last season’s success.
