One Chelsea player has been raving about his Blues team mate this week after their latest game in the Europa Conference League.

It was all too easy for Chelsea once again as it showed the difference in class between them and the rest of the teams in this competition. It’s crazy to see Chelsea playing in the Conference League, but it is what it is and you can only be professional and beat what is in front of you.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea already agree terms for player to sign in the summer!

Chelsea are doing just that, led by Blues head coach Enzo Maresca, who has been picking a number of academy players and fringe players in this competition.

They beat Shamrock Rovers 5-1 last night with a first senior hat-trick coming in for striker Marc Guiu, a nice little finish by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and a typical number 9 goal from left back Marc Cucurella of all people!

Chelsea won the league stages with a 100% record and will be preparing to go into the next stages of the competition in the new year now.

Dewsbury-Hall praises Guiu

Guiu was great again last night and two of his goals came from his own determination and intense pressing, as well as some awful play from Shamrock.

Midfielder Dewsbury-Hall was impressed with his team mate and was raving about him after the game.

The former Leicester City player told TNT Sports 1 (9:57pm, 19 December): “I like Marc. He’s a really honest lad. He’s young and he’s just come from Spain. It can be tough for a player.

“You’ve seen with the goals, I’ve never seen anyone press like him. He doesn’t slow down. He nicked one tonight from that. He’ll keep working hard. You forget how young he is. He’s only 18. I’m happy he got his hat-trick he deserves it.”
