Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are in the market for a new forward when the window opens, which will be earlier than usual this year, and Ekitike is the latest striker to be linked to the club.
Their links to Newcastle striker Alexander Isak have been well documented but Isak will reportedly command a price tag near £150 million and with the Swede contracted to Newcastle for another three years, they hold all the cards.
According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta is now turning his eye to Frankfurt striker Ekitike, who has an impressive 19 goals this season, with 13 of those being scored in the league.
At just 22-years-old, he is three years younger than Isak, and will also cost less than half the price.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid reportedly want to sign Arsenal target Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.
Mundo Deportivo say Madrid will pay €60m for the Spaniard, who has been reportedly close to agreeing a move to Arsenal and rejected a move to Liverpool last summer.
Elsewhere, Newcastle are eyeing additions of their own, with the Times reporting that Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah is interesting Eddie Howe.
The 22-year-old has only started twice in the league all season, despite never being injured, and may be keen on a move to nail down a starting spot.
He was in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad but didn’t play a minute. A £30 million bid from the Geordies may be enough to tempt Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Bild are reporting that Jadon Sancho is keen to return to Borussia Dortmund.
The winger is currently on loan at Chelsea who have a £25m option to buy the Englishman.
Sky Sports say Chelsea will sign him on a permanent basis but should they not, Dortmund as well as Bayer Leverkusen are said to be keen on him.
Despite how highly he was initially rated at the start of his career, Sancho has struggled to get back to the levels he showed at Dortmund.
Meanwhile, The Independent say Bournemouth will demand £70m for their star forward Antoine Semenyo this summer, who is interesting Newcastle.
And Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus are willing to let Andrea Cambiaso leave this summer with Man City and Liverpool interested.
