New York Red Bulls interested in signing Tottenham loanee Timo Werner | OneFootball

According to Foot Mercato, New York Red Bulls are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur loanee Timo Werner (28) in the winter transfer window. The RB Leipzig forward is currently in discussions with the MLS side over a potential move to the United States.

Werner is currently contracted to the Bundesliga club until 2026 and has an agreement to stay on loan at Spurs until the end of the season. If he were to agree to switch his Red Bull affiliation and sign for the New York-based side, it would remain to be seen whether this would see his loan spell at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium cut short.
