Khéphren Thuram is absent as OGC Nice host RC Strasbourg Alsace at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday, however, Romain Perraud could feature following his move from Southampton.

Thuram felt pain in his thigh in training this week, and ahead of the international break, the club have not wanted to take any risk. As a result, he has not been included in the squad to face Les Alsaciens. Alexis Claude-Maurice is also absent as he builds back his fitness.

It is expected that Sofiane Diop will retain his starting spot, however. Romain Perraud is also in the group but isn’t expected to start, the same goes for another new recruit Aliou Baldé, who arrived from Lausanne Sport late on in the transfer window.
