Nico Williams responds to Barcelona star winning gold at Olympics | OneFootball

Athletic Club star and known Barcelona target Nico Williams has this weekend turned heads online.

As much comes owing to his latest activity on social media.

After Nico played his part in Spain clinching glory at Euro 2024 earlier in the summer, La Roja followed up by marching on to gold medal status at the Olympic Games this week.

One of just two players to play his part in both was Barcelona youngster Fermín López, whose efforts in the Olympics in particular proved of a remarkable nature.

The 21-year-old rattled off six goals en route to Spain’s triumph, including a brace in the finale downing of hosts France.

Messages of congratulations have since flooded in for Fermín, from fans, pundits and players alike.

And, as alluded to above, today, the latter category has been added to by none other than Nico Williams.

In a move which has since piqued attentions across Barcelona’s fanbase, the 22-year-old, hotly tipped for a summer move to the Camp Nou, responded to Fermín’s latest Instagram post by writing:

‘You play too much bro’
