Nottingham Forest make initial contact for Alexis Saelemaekers | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma have seen Alexis Saelemaekers do well so far in his loan stint and while Milan still have the Belgian on their books, interest from Nottingham Forest is slowly intensifying.

Daniele Longo has reported that Roma do not have an option to buy the player and will have to attempt a completely separate deal to land him.

Premier League sides like West Ham and Leicester City tried to sign the winger in January but nothing came of it, even if they spoke to Milan about the player. Nottingham Forest were interested back then and they are now back in the fray for the 25-year-old.

They have made contact with the Belgium player’s entourage and they are likely to be a serious threat to Roma’s possibility of signing Saelemaekers permanently, especially if they secure Champions League football.

As of now, Milan value Saelemaekers at over €25m to €30m and that is the figure Nottingham Forest will have to pay.
