The FA Cup is City’s last shot at salvaging some silverware from what has been a disappointing season.

Forest beat Pep Guardiola’s side at the City Ground last month, are targeting Champions League qualification under Nuno Espirito Santo and are eyeing a trophy.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City prediction

It would not be a surprise if the game follows a pattern where Man City dominate possession for large spells and Forest soak up the pressure and look to hit on the counter. This tactic worked to perfection in the league meeting not so long ago with Callum Hudson-Odoi netting a late winner.

However, Wembley is a much bigger pitch and the fact that Guardiola’s side are more used to this occasion could prove decisive. It will be a tight encounter with City winning, but only just.
