Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United – Predicted lineup and team news

The Football Faithful

Nottingham Forest host Manchester United in the Premier League tonight seeking to take another step closer to the Champions League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are closing in on a place in Europe’s elite, sitting third in the table with nine games to go. At the weekend, Forest reached a first FA Cup semi-final since 1991 after beating Brighton on penalties. Forest will face Manchester City at Wembley in the last four.
It’s been a dream season for the Tricky Trees, who next welcome an underperforming Manchester United to the City Ground. Forest won 3-2 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture and are out to complete a league double over the Red Devils for the first time since 1983/84.
Chris Wood again looks set to miss out for Nottingham Forest. Wood sat out of the weekend clash with Brighton due to a hip injury picked up in the international break.
Forest otherwise have few concerns. Morgan Gibbs-White is expected to be fit despite a collision with the goal frame against Brighton. Substitute goalkeeper Carlos Miguel recently returned from a hamstring injury to leave Forest with a near clean bill of health.
Nottingham Forest predicted XI: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, N Williams; Dominguez, Anderson; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Awoniyi.
Nottingham Forest host Manchester United in the Premier League on Tuesday 1st April 2025. Kick-off at the City Ground is 20:00 BST.
The clash will be shown on TNT Sports in the UK.
