Manchester United wrapped up their pre-season tour of Asia with a 3-1 comeback win over Hong Kong on Friday.
After Wednesday’s disappointing 1-0 loss to the ASEAN All Stars, United were keen to finish their trip on a high.
They went into half-time trailing, having wasted a few good chances, before Juninho – originally from Brazil – gave Hong Kong the lead with a scrappy shot that slipped under Tom Heaton at his near post.
But it didn’t take long after the break for United to respond. Super-sub Chido Obi smashed in the equaliser just four minutes into the second half – his first goal for the senior side.
The ex-Arsenal academy player then doubled his tally late on, nodding in a well-placed cross from Mason Mount.
Ayden Heaven wrapped things up in stoppage time with a header of his own, sealing the win for United.
