Official | Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal joins Amiens from Rennes | OneFootball

Ligue 2 side Amiens SC have officially confirmed the signing of Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal (18) who arrives at the club from Stade de Rennes on loan until the end of the season.

The defender only arrived in Rennes during the summer from the prestigious Mohamed VI Football Academy (the same academy that launched the careers of Morcocco internationals Nayef Aguerd, Azzedine Ounahi, and Youssef En-Nesyri, among others).

The young centre-back had been courted by Ligue 1 side Lille OSC in the final hours of the transfer window. Les Dogues reportedly sent an undisclosed offer to Rennes. However, instead, Rennes have kept their teenage talent.

Aït Boudlal will join an Amiens side that has drifted into midtable. Automatic promotion appears out of reach, but the club will hope that they can turn around their form and try and force their way into the playoff picture by the end of the season.
