Official: Hansi Flick makes major changes as Barcelona name XI to face | OneFootball

The XI of players set to be depended upon by Barcelona to get the better of Valencia this evening has been unveiled online.

And it features a whole host of noteworthy changes.

Barcelona are of course fresh off the most remarkable of comeback victories over Benfica in the Champions League in midweek.

On the domestic front, though, the Blaugrana have long been struggling.

As much has allowed arch rivals Real Madrid to open up a hefty 10-point advantage over them atop the Spanish top-flight.

In the knowledge that nothing but a win will suffice for his side tonight, though, Hansi Flick has nevertheless opted to ring the changes.

Stepping into Barca’s XI are all of Eric García, Frenkie de Jong, Fermín López, and Ferran Torres.

As much means that Ronald Araújo, Gavi and Robert Lewandowski will be forced to watch on from the bench during the opening exchanges at Montjuïc, with Pedri missing out altogether owing to a bout of illness.
