Lazio have officially announced the signing of towering defender Oliver Provstgaard from Danish Superliga side Velje on a permanent transfer.
The 21-year-old centre-back has joined for a reported fee of €4m, and has put pen to paper on a long term contract which will run until the summer of 2029.
He will wear the no. 25 shirt during his first months with the Biancocelesti.

Provstgaard becomes Lazio’s third signing of the January transfer window, following the arrival of Arijon Ibrahimovic on loan from Bayern Munich and the addition of Reda Belahyane on a permanent transfer from Hellas Verona, also announced on deadline day.
The 21-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Denmark U21 side, and has been a mainstay at the heart of the Vejle defence this season. Playing the full 90 minutes in all but one of their league matches this season.
Though Marco Baroni’s side are in Serie A action against Cagliari on Monday night, the Dane is not expected to be involved, but could be part of the matchday squad at home against Monza in the league on Sunday.
