Official | Strasbourg sign Southampton prospect Samuel Amo-Ameyaw on loan

Southampton winger Samuel Amo-Ameyaw (18) has completed a loan move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, both clubs have announced. The England youth international winger’s loan deal reportedly includes a €7m option to make his move permanent to La Meinau over the next five years. Amo-Ameyaw has represented England since U16 level and is currently part of the U19 roster.

Amo-Ameyaw became Southampton’s youngest-ever Premier League player at 16 years and 314 days for the final day of the 2022-2023 campaign. Amo-Ameyaw signed a professional contract with the Saints in July 2023. He scored his first senior goal this campaign during a Carabao Cup win against Cardiff City. He’ll now pursue his development under the tutelage of English Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior.
