Official: Villarreal star signs new long-term contract | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Villarreal have on Tuesday announced a contract renewal for a member of the club’s defensive ranks.

The player in question? Pau Navarro.

Stopper Navarro has for his part enjoyed something of a breakout season to date on the books of the aforementioned Villarreal.

After establishing himself as a standout performer in the youth ranks of the Yellow Submarine, the 19-year-old has been rewarded by way of a step up to senior level.

All told, across the season to date, Navarro has racked up 12 appearances in all competitions.

And, over the course of such outings, the starlet has evidently done enough to convince those in the boardroom at La Ceràmica of his readiness to contribute long-term.

This comes amid confirmation of Navarro putting pen to paper on a new deal.

As per a statement across Villarreal’s website and social media platforms:

‘Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Pau Navarro to extend his contract, with his new deal running until June 2030. The defender from La Vilavella, who had a contract with the club until 2027, has extended his time with the Submarine for three more years.’
