Recent comments from Bernardo Silva give the impression that he wants to remain at Manchester City beyond this season. Looking at the role Bernardo fills as one of Pep Guardiola’s most trusted players there is a massive role for him to play in City’s rebuild. The hope is that he remains at City to play a key role as a senior player for next season.

In an interview with Manchester City’s official YouTube channel, Bernardo Silva was asked if he could’ve envisioned all of the success that has been achieved at Manchester City during his time at the club. The Portuguese international also added that he hopes there is more to come. Speaking on the subject Bernardo explained: “Of course not, I’m going to be honest. I wanted to win a Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup, but never thought, specifically, that in seven years I’d win six Premier Leagues. The journey has been crazy, and hopefully, it doesn’t stop here.”
