‘Only our voice’ – Curva Sud release statement after Police ban final tifo

This season, the Curva Sud have faced many problems and the plans for AC Milan’s game this evening have been disrupted by the police.
For a Coppa Italia final, it would not have been a surprise to see a fantastic display from the Curva Sud, especially given the magnitude of this game for Milan. However, the group have not been given the luxury of this.
This morning, the group posted a message on their Instagram account, stating that they would only be present in voice, rather than with a display, like would have been expected, as Milan Press writes.
“The choreography proposed for this final has also been banned, we will only have our voice, our heart and our hands. The ban on banners, flags and pennants representing any group in the second blue ring continues.
“Meeting at 4:30 pm near the Coach parking lot on Lungotevere Vittoria. Everyone wearing the final jersey or dressed in black, as in all away games! Forward Milan fans, forward Curva Sud Milano.”
It will be intriguing to see what the plans were for the game, if they are released in the future. However, just having the full backing of the fans is more than enough for the Rossoneri, who will go all out to hopefully bring a second trophy home this season, after the Supercoppa Italiana success in January.
