This evening, we face our 11th Adobe Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie since the 2014/15 campaign as we travel to Everton (7pm UK).
Having played 11 round four ties in the last decade, we have successfully progressed to the next round of the competition on seven occasions.
We reached the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time during the 2014/15 campaign, where we went on to beat Derby County 3-0 at Asterdale Bowl to reach round five.
Last season, we secured our spot in the fifth round of the competitions thanks to an injury-time winner from Rosella Ayane to claim a 3-2 win over Sheffield United at Brisbane Road.
Although we have faced Everton on 11 occasions since 2019, this will be our first-ever meeting in the Women’s FA Cup.
All our previous encounters against the Toffees have come in the Barclays Women’s Super League, with us avoiding defeat in six games (claiming two wins in those).
Most recently was our 2-1 win over Everton last month as a brace from captain Bethany England recorded an important win in the league – just the second time we have picked up maximum points against the Merseyside club.
