According to The Athletic, Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé (27) is currently involved in a legal case with his former club FC Barcelona. The France international’s agents are demanding €10m from the La Liga club after they claim they and the player were not paid fully for work involved in his transfer to the Ligue 1 champions.

Dembélé joined PSG from Barcelona in the summer of 2023 after Les Parisiens activated the release clause that was agreed in his contract. The release clause was worth a reported €50m and the 27-year-old was owed half of this after agreeing to drastically reduce his wages when signing a new contract with the Catalan club.

The forward’s agents are alleging that they are owed €10m worth of unpaid fees for their role in Dembélé’s transfer to the French capital club. Legal proceedings are currently taking place in a local court with Barcelona challenging the claim.
