But despite his lack of prominence in Flick’s team, the German did not even call him up for four consecutive games before naming him in the squad for the Benfica game, Fati is not really looking forward to leaving Barcelona and still wants to show his coach that he can contribute to the team.

For this purpose, Mundo Deportivo reports that he has had several talks with Hansi Flick. Fati asked the German for help and in these talks, he asked questions to clarify concepts and to find ways for him to improve his performances.

The Barcelona coach told the winger that he still counts on him for his quality, but he must put in better performances. In an affectionate and didactic tone, the German told the La Masia graduate that he must perform in actual matches as he does in training, without any fear and putting in his all.

Ansu understood his coach’s instructions and is now going to make an effort to improve his performance, keeping this advice in view. Furthermore, he also told his close circle in the dressing room that he was very happy with these conversations.
