Pablo Barrera hints at Chivas switch | OneFootball

There appears to be substance to the ongoing rumours linking Pablo Barrera with a move to Chivas.

The UNAM Pumas captain has been a target for Guadalajara for some time and it seems he will make that move.

Both the club’s season and his own poor form has been under scrutiny for much of the campaign.

Following their last home game, a 2-2 draw with Toluca, Barrera suggested that a Chivas move could be on the cards.

“Right now, I don’t want to talk about any of that [rumours] because I’m happy here and after the holidays, we’ll see,” he said in the mixed zone.

“We all know that those [Chivas stories] are the rumours. There is nothing official.

“I’m focused on Pumas and then after the Santos game, we will know a lot more.”

Barrera and co. will end their season at Santos Laguna on 5 May, a game that will likely be his last for the club.
