Leandro Paredes was back on the score sheet for Roma in the Giallorossi’s final game of the season.

Roma beat Torino 2-0 also thanks to Paredes’ opening goal from the spot.

After not playing much at all in the last two months, Paredes won back in his place in Claudio Ranieri’s starting line-up, providing Roma with physicality and direction to win battles in the midfield.

After Roma’s victory over Torino, Paredes hinted at potentially staying at Roma next season too, despite the recent rumors linking him with a return to Boca Juniors.

“We close the year with a victory!! It’s a difficult season, strange but trying to reach our goal until the end! Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the season. See you next year! Forza Roma Sempre,” wrote the Argentine on Instagram.
