Parma came into its Serie A fixture against Lazio needing any kind of result to possibly move away from the relegation zone following matchday 17. But in the end, it was Lazio that clinched a 2-0 win that gave the Biancocelesti back-to-back wins.
Parma midfielder Jasmin Kurtic played in the fixture and watched as Lazio not only scored a pair of goals but also recorded 21 total shots in the match. Parma sure was overwhelmed with the number of shots that Lazio took at will.
For Kurtic, there was one key reason for why Lazio pulled away with the win, which he detailed with his comments being relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
In the first half, we spent a lot, we ran, created a lot. We have also spent a lot on an energy level. We were facing a team like Lazio which is strong, which exploits the opportunity as soon as it creates.
Lazio sure had one of its most dominant attacking outputs of the season.
