Luis Guilherme is expected to remain at West Ham this summer despite a huge overhaul underway in east London.

It has been widely anticipated for some time that the club would experience a significant revamp of the senior squad this transfer window, with Graham Potter eager to steer the club in a direction which fits his vision.

Guilherme is a player that has certainly endured a frustrating 1st year in England, having struggled for gametime for much of the campaign, however there have certainly been promising signs that once he is further settled into the Premier League, he could prove highly affective.

Doubts have been present over whether Potter would want to retain the 19 year old this summer, with a vast amount of senior players set to depart east London, however we understand that Guilherme is now not likely to be one of those facing the Potter axe.

Guilherme is seen as a player who has a lot of potential and can be made effective in the new-look West Ham from next season.
