FC Barcelona officially end their season with yet another victory in La Liga. This time around, they managed to beat Athletic Club at San Mames for their final league outing. While the La Liga title was already secured, this match gave them three more points to add to their tally and finish the season with 88 points.

A 3-0 score was enough to see the Catalan giants leave this game with a smile. With two goals from Robert Lewandowski and one from Dani Olmo, Hansi Flick’s men did exactly what they needed to do in order to end their season on a high note.

Here are the player ratings for the Barcelona players following the win over Athletic Club.

Player Ratings:

Inaki Pena: 7.5

Positioned himself well and never seemed to be troubled by the Athletic Club players. Played the ball out from the back efficiently as well.

Eric Garcia: 7.0

Made some good blocks and interceptions, but definitely struggled a bit when he had to keep up with Nico Williams and his speed. Still, played a solid game throughout his time on the pitch.

Ronald Araujo: 7.5

Looked much more comfortable on the ball in this game, and played some surprisingly good passes. Both in terms of his close-range passing and distribution to players over a long distance, Ronald Araujo was solid on the ball.

Pau Cubarsi: 6.5

Made a few careless mistakes here and there, and his lack of experience still manages to be highlighted in those moments. Did well on the ball, but still needs to be more cautious with his challenges and unnecessary interventions.

Alejandro Balde: 6.5

Looked a bit restricted in terms of his progression offensively, and could not make the most out of some promising positions. He was solid defensively, however.

Gavi: 8.0

Despite playing in a deeper role, Gavi was sharp and played his role almost perfectly. Retained possession well, and then distributed the ball effectively as well when needed.

Pedri: 9.0

Simply brilliant in the middle of the pitch, and no pass or control seemed to be out of his depth. Played like a man possessed, and there is perhaps no greater evidence of his quality than the fact that San Mames was chanting his name when he was substituted.

Lamine Yamal: 7.5

His trickery certainly had the Athletic Club players worried at times, but Lamine Yamal has had better games for sure. Still, from start to finish, he was a menace on that right wing.

Fermin Lopez: 8.0

Looked eager to have an impact on the game in the first half but either rushed with his decisions or made the wrong ones. Energetic from start to finish. Assisted the first goal for Robert Lewandowski as well.

Raphinha: 6.5

Quiet in the first half and was quite restricted in terms of the involvement he had in the game. Provided some great passes in the second half, and his partners in attack should have made more out of them.

Robert Lewandowski: 8.5

Scored two great goals in the first half that displayed exactly how effective his striker’s instincts can be in the right positions. However, for as sharp as he looked in the first half, he seemed equally as out of it in the second half of the game.

Andreas Christensen: 7.0

Continues to prove why Barcelona need to rely on him moving forward with a solid display yet again.

Dani Olmo: 7.5

Played well even when put under pressure, Dani Olmo certainly had a good game. Won a penalty late in the match for Barcelona and converted it as well.

Gerard Martin: N/A

Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.

Frenkie de Jong: 6.5

Made some clever passes after coming on.
