What Luis Enrique did after PSG’s Champions League win

This is Luis Enrique’s second Champions League triumph as a coach and his second treble after the one achieved in 2015 when he beat Juventus in the Champions League Final in Berlin.

Last night’s result was the single-game final with the highest goal margin between the two teams.

What Inzaghi said after Inter’s Champions League Final defeat

“It did not seem like my Inter, we are the first to recognise that, but nothing takes away my pride in these lads for their journey. We met a team that deserves to win the match, to win the Champions League, and is probably a better team than we are,” said the Nerazzurri boss.

“We had a bad initial approach to the game, we conceded early and then got stretched out, which made it easier for Paris Saint-Germain. This ugly defeat clearly gives us great bitterness, but it does not cancel out what we did to get here.

“Naturally, we should’ve done better, but I will not forget what the lads did this season. It’s true, they end up with zero titles, but they still did incredibly well. I told them that in the dressing room, they ought to have their heads held high. There is disappointment tonight, but this group deserves compliments.”
