Kenan Yildiz was Football Italia’s Man Of The Match in Juventus’ 2-0 win over city rivals Torino.

The Turkish talent scored the second goal of the night against the Granata, while Timothy Weah had opened the account in the first half, capitalising on an impressive Andrea Cambiaso solo attack.

The Bianconeri were in control of the match, especially in the first half. Even if Torino tried to bounce back after the break, they were never really dangerous and ended up losing their third consecutive league game.

Best Juventus player – Yildiz 8: He would have been among the best players even without his goal: 95% passing accuracy (20/21) and two successful dribbles from three (via Sofascore). He dominated down the left flank and his third goal in Serie A this season was the icing on the cake.

Lowest Juventus rating – Vlahovic 5.5: Same rating as Savona, who wasn’t always accurate with the ball at his feet. After a disappointing performance, Vlahovic was subbed off at minute 73: He lost possession seven times and had just 17 touches and 78% passing accuracy.

Juventus coach—Motta 6.5: Torino never really troubled the Old Lady: low in confidence and weak in attack. In this scenario, the Bianconeri easily controlled the game and never felt the Granata could score. However, they should have created more goal-scoring opportunities against a team in deep crisis.

Best Torino player – Ricci 6: It’s hard to pick the best one here. The Granata were really flat and poor. At least Ricci showed the usual personality with the ball at his feet, but he was subbed off in the second half with an injury.

Lowest Torino rating – Walukiewicz 4.5: He’ll probably see Yildiz in his nightmares tonight.

Torino coach – Vanoli 5.5 – Not an ideal situation. Three of their best players – Ricardo Rodriguez, Alessandro Buongiorno and Raoul Bellanova – left in the summer. The other top player, Duvan Zapata, is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Torino were never dangerous, but it’s hard to blame the coach. After an excellent start to the season, they are now close to the relegation zone. Worrying.
