Di Gregorio 7 – Some big saves in the second half and extra time. He couldn’t handle the Gatti touch leading to PSV’s third goal.

Weah 6.5 – Too soft on Noa Lang in the build-up to PSV’s goal in the second half. A foul would have been harmless, He levelled the score a few minutes later, but it was not enough to qualify.

Gatti 5 – Tricked Di Gregorio with a decisive touch for PSV’s third goal. He wasn’t as composed as in the last few games. Perhaps playing without Veiga close to him had an impact. Finished the game in attack.

Veiga N/A – Didn’t even have time to get in the mood that he suffered a muscle injury. (12′ Cambiaso 6 – Forced Benitez to a save at minute 29. Played the last minutes of regular time in central midfield before being subbed off (91′ Mbangula 5.5).

Kelly 4.5 – Started as a left-back but quickly moved to central defence when Veiga was forced off. Shaky on many occasions, including PSV’s second goal. At least he won seven aerial duels from eight (via Sofascore).

Locatelli 5 – Only 38 touches and 72% passing accuracy. Struggled to deal with PSV’s pressing (77′ Thuram 5.5).

Koopmeiners 4.5 – Decent in the first half, but the overall performance was poor again, with even fewer touches than Locatelli, just 36. Hard to have an impact (77′ Savona 5.5).

Conceiçao 5 – His pace was always dangerous, but he made no key passes or successful crosses. Unsurprisingly, the Portuguese was subbed off in the second half (77′ Yildiz 5).

McKennie 6 – Three key passes and one big chance created. Played 90 minutes as an attacking midfielder and the extra time as a holding.

Nico Gonzalez 5.5 – Four successful dribble attempts but wasted too many passes (58% accuracy). Slightly more dangerous as an attacking midfielder in extra time.

Kolo Muani 4.5 – The Frenchman didn’t get much service from his teammates, but he didn’t have that spark when he was involved. His worst performance since joining Juventus in January (89′ Vlahovic 5.5).

Coach: Motta 4 – The approach was excellent as Juventus looked in control in the first half, but the rest of the game was entirely opposite. His confusing substitutions didn’t help the Juventus cause. After four consecutive wins, the Bianconeri suffered a painful defeat in which all their issues re-emerged: from sterile possession to struggles to hold on to leads.

PSV Eindhoven: Benitez 6.5; Ledezma 6.5 (78′ Malacia 7), Flamingo 8, Boscagli 7 (106′ Obispo 6.5), Mauro Junior 6.5; Schouten 6 (72′ Til 6.5), Saibari 7.5, Veerman 7; Perisic 8 (85′ Bakayoko 7.5), De Jong 7, Lang 8. Coach: Bosz 7.5
