Goal scorers Eldor Shomurodov and Manuel Locatelli were the best players in Roma-Juventus, but Mile Svilar and Pierre Kalulu also deserved high ratings.
Juventus and Roma drew 1-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, moving one point closer to Atalanta, who had lost their third consecutive league match against Lazio.
Locatelli broke the deadlock with his first goal of the season in the first half, but super sub Shomurodov levelled the score just a few minutes after his introduction during the half-time break. The Uzbek forward was the Lega Serie A MVP.
Below are the Football Italia player ratings for Roma-Juventus.
Roma: Svilar 7; Hummels 6 (46′ Shomurodov 7), Mancini 6, N’Dicka 6.5; Celik 6 (72′ Nelsson 6), Cristante 6 (61′ Paredes 6), Koné 6, Angelino 6; Soulé 5.5, El Shaarawy 6 (61′ Gourna-Douath 6); Dovbyk 6 (85′ Baldanzi N/A). Coach: Ranieri 6.5.
Best Roma players: Shomurodov and Svilar 7 – The 29-year-old forward made an immediate impact and scored his 6th goal this season. The goalkeeper performed a superb save in the first half and was always confident when facing Juventus’ crosses.
Lowest Roma rating: Soulé 5.5 – The Argentine massively helped the team defensively, so he was not entirely sharp in the final third. Surely not a bad performance from the ex-Juventus winger, but he did more in defence than in attack.
Roma coach: Ranieri 6.5 – Changed the game by introducing Shomurodov during the break. Roma extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches.

Juventus: Di Gregorio 6; Kalulu 7, Veiga 6, Kelly 6.5; Weah 6 (68′ Cambiaso 6), Locatelli 7 (76′ Savona 6), Thuram 6, McKennie 5.5; Nico Gonzalez 6 (68′ Koopmeiners 5.5), Yildiz 6; Vlahovic 6 (68′ Kolo Muani 6). Coach: Tudor 6.5.
Best Juventus players: Locatelli and Kalulu 7 – The midfielder became the first Italian Juventus goal scorer in 2025. On top of that, he made 90 touches and had 91% passing accuracy (via Sofascore). Kalulu won six duels and avoided a likely Bryan Cristante goal with a perfectly-timed sliding intervention inside the box in the first half.
Lowest Juventus rating: McKennie 5.5 – Like Soulé, the American was not entirely convincing in the final third, but his defensive support and work rate helped Juventus secure an important away draw.
Juventus coach: Tudor 6.5—Juventus played courageously against one of the league’s most in-form teams. They didn’t lose confidence after Roma’s equaliser and continued pushing for a winner.
