The Premier League have unveiled the nominees for the first Player and Manager of the Month awards of 2025.
Seven players from six clubs are in the running this month, with December's winner, Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, looking to become the first player to retain the prize since Marcus Rashford in February 2023.
Meanwhile, there are four managers attempting to kick 2025 off with an award, with the fifth different winner of the season set to be crowned.

Nobody in the Premier League scored more goals across January than Phil Foden, who has rediscovered his best form for Manchester City. He netted six times in just four games against West Ham, Brentford, Ipswich and Chelsea, even adding a bonus assist against Kieran McKenna's side.
Liverpool's Cody Gakpo broke a Dutch record in January and he scored in a sixth successive Premier League home game, climbing clear of Robin van Persie and Ruud van Nistelrooy's previous bests. The winger stole the show against Ipswich to close out the month.
At the other end of the pitch, Bournemouth's in-demand centre-back Dean Huijsen earns a nomination. The Cherries are unbeaten since introducing Huijsen to the starting lineup, beating Everton, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest and securing a draw against Chelsea. Teammate Justin Kluivert racked up five goals and two assists across those games.
Alexander Isak is bidding to retain his crown after a dazzling individual month for Newcastle United. Five goals across January took the Swede's tally to 17 in just 21 outings this season, and he also chimed in with his fifth assist of the season.
Word on the street is that there is no striker better than Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Crystal Palace fans had plenty of opportunities to sing their catchy song as he netted four times in as many games, putting Chelsea, Leicester and West Ham to the sword.
Rounding out the shortlist is a regular nominee, Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo. With four more goals to add to his tally across January, Mbeumo also created a whopping 13 chances for his teammates. Only three players managed more.

No side won more points across January than Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. The Gunners collected 11 from a possible 15, including a north London derby victory over Tottenham, which helped keep the Gunners in the race for the Premier League title.
After an utterly miserable end to 2024, Pep Guardiola finally rediscovered his winning touch in January. City won three of their four games, putting a combined 13 goals past West Ham, Ipswich and Chelsea, and battled to a 2-2 draw away at Brentford.
Newcastle had a blip against Bournemouth but enjoyed an otherwise stellar month under Eddie Howe. The Magpies end January in fifth after seeing off Tottenham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
Bournemouth are unbeaten since the end of November and added Everton, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest to their list of victims in January. Andoni Iraola's side also battled back to a deserved 2-2 draw with Chelsea to end the month just one point outside the top four.
