Leeds United will be keen to extend their scintillating form on Wednesday evening, as they travel to the Midlands to face Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship.
Sitting top of the table, the Whites put in a superb display to hammer Cardiff City 7-0 at Elland Road in their most recent fixture.
Strikes from Brenden Aaronson and Manor Solomon had put Daniel Farke’s side into a two-goal lead at the break, before Dan James, Willy Gnonto, Mateo Joseph, and a Joël Piroe brace completed the rout on home soil.
The resounding victory over the Bluebirds was the club’s biggest league win in 52 years, equaling the same tally against Southampton back in 1972!
The result also extended United’s run of clean sheets to five matches in all competitions and moves them onto 63 points after 30 matches played.
Coventry, meanwhile, find themselves 11th in the standings, having won their last four matches. Most recently, the Sky Blues picked up an important 2-0 win on the road against Swansea City, thanks to goals from Ellis Simms and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The two sides have already met once this campaign with the Whites coming out on top. Strikes from Gnonto, Jayden Bogle and Piroe fired Leeds to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
Action from the Coventry Building Society Arena gets underway at 7:45pm.
