The Gunners go into the game top of their group and that is where they will stay as long as they avoid any unexpected slip ups against bottom side FC Zürich.
Wednesday’s fixture will see FC Zürich head coach Inka Grings take charge for the final time before she takes up a role of head coach of the Swiss national team. Grings could again be without Luisa Süry, Noa Schärz and Kim Dubs for her side’s latest match with the trio having been sidelined for last week’s 5-0 defeat to Juventus.
Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall must do without the services of attackers Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema who have been ruled out for the season with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries. Youngster Teyah Goldie is also out with the player not yet back to full fitness. Kim Little could be ready for some minutes after returning to the matchday squad last time out against Lyon.
The UEFA Women’s Champions League fixture between FC Zürich and Arsenal is scheduled to kick-off at 5.45pm on Wednesday evening.
